WHAT YOU'LL NEED FOR THIS PROJECT

Polymer Clay

• Black

• Raw Sienna

• prebaked eyeballs made from Black clay, slightly larger than %" (0.3cm) in diameter

Armature

• 3" (7.6cm) long metal rod

• 3" (7.6cm) of beading wire

• card stock sized with Super Glue

Tools

• scissors

• blade for cutting the clay

• ruler

• fine needle tool

• small and large tapestry needle tools

• small and medium knitting needles

Acrylic Paints

• Black

• Cadmium Red Medium

• Raw Sienna

• Raw Umber

• Titanium While

Brushes

• no. 00 synthetic

• no. 1 and no. 3 round bristle brushes

• no. 6 synthetic round or filbert

Other Supplies

• paint mixing tray or four small jar lids

• paper towel for wiping dry brush

• cyanoacrylaic glue (Super Glue)

• vinyl glue (Sobo, Gem Tac or Alecne's Tacky)

• crumpled aluminum foil

• gloss varnish

TIP
Follow ihe step-by-siep instructions. Don't assemble the pans all at once. Assemble them one at time or in matching pairs. Blend the seams of each applique one at a time as you apply them.
TIP
If you use the block method to measure the clay and the clay is too soft, mea¬sure and divide the clay, then condition and leach each portion separately.
